Norman Bethune Sanson was curator of the Banff Park Museum from 1896 to 1932. He hunted many of the taxidermy specimens in the museum which he exhibited in naturalistic dioramas and displays. The Banff Park Zoo which was located behind the Museum in Central Park and from 1902 to 1937 Sanson was it's zookeeper.
